The Rockets are going to have the oppurtunity to make something magical. There back court is great and will be great for years to come. There three has two promising young talents that will make it easy for us to forget about Rashard Lewis. Who knows what will happen at the 4. But one thing is for sue that in about 3 years we will have an all-star at that posistion (Eddie Griffin) Now that we have the Great Wall of China on are squad we could possibly have the best talent in the league right now. If every thing goes as planned we could be looking at a team that is deep and good at every posistion. We will have 5 players on are team that all have a shot at making an all star team at some time in the next 10 years. We have three players (Francis, Ming, Griffin) That could make the 1st all NBA squad. With all of this talent we have the chance to make a run as being one of the best dynasty's of all time. Are name could be put with the names like the Celtics, Bulls, Lakers, and Rockets. We have tons of ? marks on our team but if we can get most of them answered we could even make a run at the Bulls record 72-10 season.
I am thinking reallisticaly I think we have better talent than them and 2 yrs will do the trick. You can't base your teams success on the success of other teams.( A wise basketball master once taught me that) We have all of the pieces to the puzzle...just missing the glue which is 2-3yrs max

Mobley is Ron Mercer with lots of playing time? Francis is...Stephon Marbury? Mooch is Mooch. let's ee what we have: Rookie Smits/Dampier Young Rasheed Wallace/Mo Taylor Walt Williams 2 seasons ago/6'8 Brent Barry Ron Mercer Marbury/Mooch That, I think, is as bad as we can possibly be. I'd take that team for 10th seed in the West? I think so. I liek our tam teh way it is. Except KT should be traded for a more pressing need, a loud, defensive minded backup SG.
10th spot will not cut it. at worst, we need to be 8th. i say we need a defencive stopper! bryon russell or raja bell. that would help our team out a great deal.

I am totally with all of you on this one I think that this team is loaded with great varied and versatile talent. They have it all except for bangers which Cato can do. They have shooters, slashers and post players this should be 50 wins this year barring injuries. The rockets did their homework and I believe that they should keep Thomas, Mooch and Tierre this would be nice depth for the team back up 3 is still a ? but I saw Thomas match up nicely against some of the bigger 3s last year this should be a squad peops I just hate it when some peops try to shoot it down before it even started. If this team was good enough for 45, 2 years ago with half of this talent why the hell not 50 this year. And am I the only one that thinks that San Antonio is due for a Utah Jazz like year this year, man they're a bunch of stiffs there. Some of them play like they are due for dirt naps.
