What team in the NBA do you think . . from a PURELY talent stand
    point is purely the WORSE?

My 1st thought was the BobCats being they are so new
    but
Atlanta keeps screaming at me to look at them

Definitely charlotte. They have a pretty good player in Okafor and that's it. They have one NBA caliber starter in Wallace and 2 potential NBA caliber starters in May and Felton. Atl has Harrington, Joe Johnson, Josh Smith, Marvin Williams, Josh Childress, Zaza, and Salim...they're all NBA caliber starters or potential starters.

sad thing about okafor, it doesn't look like he'll get much better in the future, unlike dwight howard. okafor's 6'9", howard is 6'11" with superior athletcism. felton is an eventually going to be very good. may, i don't know--everyone was saying that he could potentially be the next brand/boozer, but he doesn't have nearly the natural strength of those two.

atlanta has a lot of talent on their team. in fact they're like the clippers were until this year--other teams only talk about them in terms of trying to steal players off their roster.

they should have not drafted FELTON and MAY. they seemed overrated. MAY looks like clarence weatherspoon, and felton is just not ready.

Chris Paul is the real deal. They screwed up, but they still have nice pick next year.

The Bobcats have a great plan for the future though. They aren't using much cap space and are stocked with rookies full of potential. Give them a few years and they'll turn into a playoff team.

Outside from Kobe, the Lakers roster is pretty pathetic.

    Portland

    Randolph is overrated.
Miles is solid, but not much better than Gerald Wallace.

Dixon, Blake, Przbilla, and Khryapa along with Randolph are starting these days.

    KWame brown is a #1 draft Pick . . :p

At this point I think Chris Mihm is better than Kwame

This is quite a point u make
Lamar Odom should be better than he playing

With the exception of Odom, agreed. They're starting:
-Smush Parker: a glorified NBDL player
    -Kwame Brown: UPSIDE UPSIDE UPSIDE
    -Chris Mihm: see Smush Parker

    Bench:
-Brian Cook: a very poor man's Donyell Marshall
-Devean George: what did he do to deserve the MLE?
-Sasha Vujacic: the white Andre Barrett
-Luke Walton: only in the NBA because of his last name
-Andrew Bynum: he could be good in like 3 or 4 years
    -Von Wafer: who?

agreed. in the 90's, the clipper had arguably the greatest assemblage of raw talent on their rosters from top to bottom every year. just stocked with lottery draft picks and potential superstars.

but sterling was smart. he traded everyone after their rookie contracts were up, and just drafted more potential stars with stockpiled lottery picks. that way, the salaries remained low and the franchise continued to be very profitable. fan support was always solid due to the spillover effect from the lakers.

everyone criticizes sterling, but as a businessman, he's been one of the smartest owners in the business.
