I guess this kills any interest they had in Courtney Lee ??

They have the cap space to absorb his contract. Only need to send back a second rounder.

 

So that means they backed off of Kaman? Does that mean Kaman might be a rocket??

Source confirms @SpearsNBAYahoo report that Pacers will acquire Leandro Barbosa from Toronto. Source says Raptors will get a second-rounder.

They still have the cap space to deal for Kaman but now have to send back around 4M of salary to Hornets.

 

Pacers buying makes it seem all the less likely Granger is available.

 

Now George Hill can start...and they can bring Barbosa as a scorer off the bench.

But this does take Pacers out of running for Kaman right?

How can George Hill start? Put him in front of Paul George? Only way I see Hill starting is if they trade Granger which probably ain't happening being they are a legit top 5 team in the East that will make some noise.

with George Hill's play of late....you can start him at point instead of collison. Hill has been finishing games and playing great.

 

Sure... but how does landing Barbosa mean "now" they can start Hill? Adding Barbosa doesn't affect their PG situation.

I see your point but I don't get the vibe Hill starting will provide enough playmaking. Not like Collison is raking up the assists but Hill just seems more combo guard then starting point guard.
