Just thought some of you might be interested in this in case you haven't used it in the past and want to give it a shot . They're offering a free trial from now through November 3rd, so you can catch the game tonight and see if it's worth it to you. http://www.nba.com/leaguepass/online.html
sweet...missed the free preview last year. Wow...this is nice. like the GUI. very clean. Watching yesterdays Dallas vs Washington game now.
They need to allow truly full screen video by getting rid of that score banner at the top. Being able to watch three games at once is fantastic, but the two smaller windows are a bit too small to tell what's going on and I'm watching on a 21" monitor. It's slightly better on my tv, but it would be great if all three games were equal size or better yet, adjustable sizes. Loving the DVR functionality. Having access to archived games all season long will be great. Those two things were the selling points for me over using streams all season long. But at least the streams have true full screen and adjustable sizes.
the one thing I am not impressed with was the whole 'listen to home or away audio' option. little did we know they meant Audio as your only option. that's right, you can watch the video broadband with the announcers they provide from the local feed, or you can listen to Audio League Pass, home or away, with the announcer of your choice. unless I am not seeing the option, this is a bush-league move to advertise this before the season and then give us something they had been doing for years already. 9the audio league pass option0 now they've just streamlined the ALP option into the LPBB window. big whoop
ANyone else watching the rockets game? Mine is lagging pretty badly. Is it the feed or my connection?
I watched the Rockets/Warriors game and didn't have any problems. I was actually shocked. I thought there'd be all kinds of problems. Of course once I pay for this, I'll probably have all kinds of problems...
I used it last year, and didn't have too many problems. Sometimes it lagged a little bit, but that's about it.
You won't (have problems or regrets after you pay). It's a very good product they have improved on this year over last.
Must be a different setup from International League Broadband. So far two games in I have been able to watch just one of them live which just buffered the whole time. Despite them advertising 48 hour on demand viewing of old games I am unable to watch either of the Rockets first two games. I paid $150 to watch 82 Rockets games, yet when I talked to them on their live support chat and they told me 'we are working on fixing the issue' I then asked about what sort of refund we would be getting for the downtime to which they responded 'We are unable to provide a refund with this promotion, we are sorry for the downtime you may have experienced'. Like seriously? its the start of the season, how hard is it to make sure everything is working? Last year I had no problems but in these first two games I have sat here unable to watch games and having to wait an hour to ask someone why I am not getting what I paid for. You would think at the worst they could offer a discount on the playoffs for me, or the first week of playoffs free?
i've had the same exact problems you described as well. but this online broadcast system is operated by a third party, not the nba itself. so anyways, this morning i instructed my attorney to draft a nasty letter to them regarding the crappy service (both broadcasting and customer). you can complain as well if you wish: RayV Technologies Ltd. Not a bad idea. It annoys me because until recently we didn't get this service in Australia and you basically could only watch what was on pay tv, which was maybe 2-3 games a week and they were basically all games involving LA, Detroit, Spurs, Bucks, Mavs, Cavs, Celtics. So after getting it last year I loved it, when I could I watched it live but if not I watched every win on replay when I was home from work. Now its poor to have problems but what has really irked me is how poorly they have handled it. There is nothing on the main pages at all saying anything about the problems, the only indication you get is when you do a live chat with them it says there is no Video on Demand(which is part of the service you have paid for), the chat itself is an hour wait or more to get a reply, then they basically offer you nothing and we are getting no compensation for it...
Sorry to hear about your problems guys. I'm in Houston so I couldn't watch the Rockets game online, but my streams of the other games were perfect. I don't blame you for being ticked off because that was sweet win against the Warriors.
I can't watch the Rockets game anymore through NBA league pass it is being blackout. I don't know if the RGV is now consider a Houston market but I hope that means the Rocket's home games will shown on Fox Sports down here, last night they had the STARS Hockey game on though.
Yesterday the Rockets game was lagging with chopping audio, so I decided to watch it today. And now the problem: This is on ILP, can anyone confirm that this is not only happening for me?
Yeh mate thats what we are all getting, sure does suck. You also can't watch one game from the day before...you guessed it, the Rockets game.
^^^^^ support: The last two games are not working at the moment, we are checking the problem right now. please be hold. that was from 12 hours ago......and i still be hold!
