I'm putting together a mix CD for before the Poison/Vince Neil/Skid Row/Faster Pussycat/Adler's Appetite concert at the Woodlands next Saturday. I'm having trouble with deciding between "Lay Your Hands on Me" or "Bad Medicine". Please help me out. I don't know how to post a poll.
Definitely Bad Medicine. I don't know how many times I have quoted that to girls who are five years younger than me and wouldn't know what the hell that song was...
P.S. I hope this is just a compromise of their New Jersey offerings- no 80's Rock compilation is complete without You Give Love A Bad Name. (Bad Name).
I'm not much of a Bon Jovi fan, but I'd have to go with Lay Your Hands on Me. I like the organ part at the beginning.
No way..if you are going to do Bon Jovi on a 80's mix cd, you HAVE TO use Runaway. Their best song. Quick Question, I dont suppose Sebastian is bach with Skids yet is he? If not, why bother..Faster Pussycat sounds interesting...but I can do without Poison and Vince.. enjoy the show..
R2K, you're right. I was wondering why I was having such a tough time. I had forgotten that I originally intended to use 'Runaway'. Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Unfortunately no. But listen to their new single and let me know if you can tell. I'm sure you can, but the new guy can definitely sing too and he does a great Bach. Even looks like him too (just shorter): New album out August 5th:
Bad Medicine..... Given You going to see DLR at the end of the month in Austin? I might want to check that out if he sings old VH tunes..... Oh yeah the new Skids singer sucks!! Whats up with all the "hey's"??? Bring back Bach, regroup Motley Crue, add Whitesnake with Steve Vai, and I would go see this show.....
I saw DLR when he came thru with Sammy last year. and he does indeed do old VH, unfortunately...his guitarist is NO Eddie VH. not even close... He should get back together with Vai, at least he could pulloff the songs the way they were meant to be done. Glad to be of service Freak...
I don't know......I'd like to go see Whitesnake, with Warrant, Winger, and Slaughter in SA on 8/1. If that falls through I may try to go see DLR on 7/23. Should know pretty soon. The budget isn't unlimited, you know.
After further listening..... "Lay Your Hands On Me" rocks pretty damn hard.... I totally forgot about that one. Thats a damn heavy riff by Sambora..... Freak- Let me know about DLR. I might be down.
