So I've gotten everyone taken care of except for the girlfriend and the brother-in-law. Somehow or another, I feel like there's an outside chance I'll think of something worthwhile for the girl. Hell, if all else fails, I can always do jewelry. But the brother-in-law is way too hard to shop for. He's into a lot of technical things, like building his own computers and multimedia systems. He also loves sci fi stuff. His computer ststems are just way too complicated for me to understand, and I think his projects are done for the moment. He also loves good wine, and I was going to sign him up for a wine club, until I realized you had to have a person over 21 signing for the packages when they are delivered. I need ideas and i got none! I'd like to keep it under $150 - any help would be appreciated.
If your B-i-l is a gamer, you could get him a gaming mouse and keyboard. If not, I would suggest finding out what sci fi dvds he has. Then, find a website with top 100, etc sci fi movies ever made. Get the best movies on list he doesn't have. The same could be done with books, but you'll like need your sister's help.
My dad got one of these and a lot of workers at electronic stores and stuff like that really like it: http://skymall.com/shopping/detail.htm?c=&v=&tab=pd&vendorDirect=false I wouldnt want one but if this guy is like I think he is, he would like it.
Voice activated R2D2? I hate Star Wars and even I think that's pretty damn cool. Well done! Thanks for the help folks...I'm still not sure yet, but this helps. Zac D - I have a girlfriend. My sister has a husband....he's my brother in law. Not like my non-existant's wife's brother or anything.
You can buy a pretty decent digital camera for about 150 bucks these days. Most deals are online, but some can be had at local stores. An Ipod speaker set is nice for music listeners. Tivo is nice, but requires subscription on part of subscriber. If recipient has Tivo already, a Slingbox is pretty cool as well.
Actually thats not what I meant, I posted the link wrong, but If it works for you ... I was trying to post the auto-card manager
