    I love The Knack.

Their CD "Zoom" (1998, I think) is even better than "Get the Knack", IMO. I just picked up their latest album, "Normal as the Next Guy". I want to get "Serious Fun" as well. Power Pop all the way.

I'll have to download some songs from "Zoom" and give it a listen. It will be very hard to top "Get the Knack" IMHO

    Depeche Mode - Strange Love
The White Stripes - Fell in Love with a Girl
The Get Up Kids - Close to me
No Doubt - Simple Kind of Life
    No Doubt - Ex-Girlfriend
Orgy - Fiction (Dreams in Digital)
    Fenix TX - Ordinary World
    Homegrown - Come Undone

I like covers of songs. I have the Get Up Kids covering the Cure's Close to me, and Fenix TX and Homegrown doing Duran Duran, and NUFAN doing Depeche Mode.

I'm currently in the process of rounding up songs for Old School's Funk Classics. The songs included so far are:

    Superfly - Curtis Mayfield
Keep on Truckin' - Eddie Kendricks
I Wanna Do Something Freaky to You - Leon Haywood
Float On - Floaters (not real "funky" but I like it)
    Skin Tight - Ohio Players
The World is a Ghetto - WAR

I'm still looking for a few more to round these out. 70's hard funk. I may throw in some James Brown. No George Clinton though.
