It's been an incredible run but I am sad to announce this is the final weekend for Infernal Bridegroom's production of A SOAP OPERA, a rock opera by the Kinks. Far as I know, rockHEAD's the only BBs type who's come and a search will confirm that he loved it. Not only that, but we've had people fly in from California, Maryland and Seattle (as well as several folks from Austin) and the reaction's been a unanimous "**** YEAH!" It's one hour long and it's the rockingest thing we've done in years. Three performances left: Friday at 8, Saturday at 8 & 11. Tickets available for each of them, but they're going fast. 713-522-8443 for tickets. www.infernalbridegroom.com for info. And a free beer, on the Batman, for anyone who finds me and says they're there from cc.net. Here's a review from Houston Press (in which they refer to your friendly neighborhood Batman as a "cult hero" of all things): http://houstonpress.com/issues/2002-11-14/theater.html/1/index.html
Mr. Wayne congrats, I for one am proud of you. Happy holidays, sell'em out, break a leg and continued success! (Damn I wish I could act, and spel)
Lastest call of all. We're sold out for 8 tonight, but still have about five seats left for the late show, where you can have the pleasure of sitting next to the real heypartner and his lovely wife. Call now though. They'll be gone any time now.
