CNN's Larry King seems to believe that Larry Brown is headed back to LA to coach the Clippers. Who cares what Larry King thinks, right? The fact is that King is very close to Donald Sterling and is on the executive committee of his charity fund raising group and comes out to LA to chair at least two of Sterling's $2,000 a plate fund raisers every year. I am guessing that King must have spoken with him before talking about Brown publicly. At a minimum, I take this to mean that Sterling is going to make a strong effort to get Brown to come back to LA.

Why not to Washington to manage the Astros?

    brown will/should think about this:

    ROCS-CLIPS

    YAO MING - MICHAEL OLOWAKANDI
    (NO MATCH THERE)

    STEVE FRANCIS - ANDRE MILLER
(FRANCHISE GOT THE EDGE, HE MADE DRE EAT HIS SOLES ON ALL THEIR GAMES)

EDDIE GRIFFIN / MO TAYLOR - ELTON BRAND
(BRAND GOT THE EDGE HERE, BUT EG AT 20 SHOWED ALOT OF POTENTIAL AND MO AFTER HIS SEASON-ENDING ANKLE INJURY, BOUNCED BACK THIS SEASON AND PLAYED LIKE HE DID NOT CAME FROM A BIG INJURY)

    JAMES POSEY - LAMAR ODOM
(JAMES IS A VERY VERSATILE PLAYER THAT CAN SHOOT, DEFEND WELL, AND HUSTLE TO GET THE BALL. A FEW PLAYERS CAN DO THAT, ONE EXAMPLE IS IVERSON)

CUTTINO MOBLEY (AT THE MOMENT) - COREY MAGETTE
(CAT IS A GREAT SLASHER, GREAT DRIVER, HAS VERY GOOD OUTSIDE SHOT, AND ABOVE AVERAGE DENFENDER. HE SLOWED THE GAMES OF THE LIKES OF KOBE, IVERSON, T-MAC, THE LIST GOES ON. COREY HAS MUSCLE. PURE STRENGTH AND ENERGY KEEPS HIM ON TOP OF HIS GAME. HAS AN AVERAGE SHOOTING TOUCH)

well, rocs has more potential and a real play-off bound team! if i was brown, this is no contest. rocs will be my pick! this is all my opinion. if yall got some ideas, let's hear it. :)

Yeah but he is probably taking more than team potential into consideration... He said hisself thats where he'll like to be again.... Hopefully our position is one he cannot pass up. But all who have wife's know that she will play a big part in his decision.

remember the lady 1/2 his age that Larry King married. She was host of one of those Hollywood gossip shows. She was pretty hot. I can not think of anything more significant about Larry King.

I can't remember her name -Shannon Sedgewick?

This has to be one of the worse analogies I've seen in a while. I know its a big if, but if Brown went back to La and had some kind of control over the signings, La has just as much if not more talent than Houston. If you look solely at matchups, Houston has a clear edge in probably only one and thats Ming and maybe Francis, maybe. La has a huge plus with Brand and Odom and a tossup with Maggette vs Mobley. If all thing being equal and Sterling actually paid his players, La would be one of the most desired places to coach like Houston.

    The eating soles right?

    Francis vs Clipps:
    19ppg,6.8asst,4.8rebs 37%fg and 3.8 to's

    Miller vs Rox:
    18ppg,7.5asst,2.8rebs,52%fg and 4.0 to's

It seems pretty even to me

They definitely have more talent than us. Well they did the 2002-2003 season. But Donald Sterling.....the cheapest owner in the world.....will not resign all of his free agents. And like more than half of his team is going to free agency. If he does pay big money to Larry Brown and gets Elton Brand back....and maybe another one guy like Lamar Odom or Andre Miller, then Larry Brown could make them into a very good team.

Shawn Southern or something like that. Hell, she is his 7th wife!!

I would take more stock (and that ain't much) in what "Dr." Jack Ramsay has to say about this compared to a guy who loves to hear the sound of his voice in Larry King.

It keeps coming up that the Clippers are LBs original choice...but from the looks of things..The Rockets have made a strong move to change Larrys mind and are leaving no doubt they want him.
It cant hurt that he likes CD, Rudy and KeithJones..The call from Steve was big too..LB knows his system works if the players cooperate.
KT also gave the Rockets front office and players a plug..again dispelling the myth that he hates the Rockets.

Steve called LB? KT gave us a recommendation? Where did you see this? That is cool if true.

Just like most players would like to play in their hometown, most coaches would like to coach in a city they really like living in. One thing is for certain, at least the NC job won't tempt larry like it used to.
