please don't tell me the next rockets coach will be larry brown. although I have a feeling that idiot Les Alexander will hire Brown, I must dissent from this opinion of brown. I believe BRwon is an old school throw back coach who does not know how to relate to players and this is evident as he continually clashed with Iverson. I just don't like his style of play, deeming it to lack innovation and complexity. Van GUndy would be the better choice here. Van Gundy's teams have always played solid defense while distributing the ball equitablly on offense. Gundy disciplines his team to do just this--good defense and equal oppurtunity offense with Yao as the focus. I believe the rockets are making a huge mistake in hiring brown. Can any of you honestly root for this guy? Everytime I see his face I see nothing but constipation and an uptight attitude, which makes me want to punch him the face. He just has this air of authoritarianism. HIRE JEFF!!

Its true Brown speaks with authority, and I wouldnt know about his habits around a bathroom..but he is an ex-NBA player , if you start throwing punches at this guy..he may flush you down the commode.

This thread is great...btw, I don't think bafoon is a real word. You're thinking of baboon, although I could be wrong.

Yeah, Im sure Iverson was completely innocent in all the clashing. How many other players did Brown get in fights with? Yeah, thats what I thought.

I think quite the opposite!!! Larry Brown is just what the Rockets Players need. His personality and the way he relates to players is the complete opposite to Rudy T. He is the TOP Teacher in the NBA Coaching ranks and I want him for the Rockets.
Regarding Iverson, no civilized person would want to deal with Iverson. He is a law unto himself and would drive any normal decent person to the vomitorium. Larry Brown worked wonders with Iverson, Brown must be one heck of a Coach!!

yetti, have you ever met allen iverson? no? then please, don't judge the guy. I'm not saying he's a great person, because I have met him and to me he was an *******. however, I don't know him personally, he could be the greatest guy in the world.

you should simply use discretion when you judge someone by WHO they are, when you DON'T know them.

what do you know about basketball? why areyou even in this forum when all you do is maliciously attack others. mispelling a word does not equate idiocy. it is a man's words and his thoughts that determine this. now, have you nothing better to do seclusion? of course everyone can see your childish ways in attempting to prove your intellect, which in this case is very close to nothing. why don't you go back to your isolated life and contemplate suicide, seclusion?
