the reporters are putting the tough questions to him. It sounds to me like Larry wants to coach somewhere next year.

When asked about Houston and Cleveland, Larry said he would do what was best for his family. He said they loved Philadelphia. But just listening to him it sounds to me like he will be coaching and i would put money on it.

In the press conference, it was stated that he is free to go without any compensation (I think the GM said that).

Larry said he is not going to be Idol. He just has to sit down and think about things.

LB says that his passion to coach is still there and that he is a better coach today than he was several years ago. He felt like the franchise (Philly) needed new blood and that he wanted to be sure the next coaching opportunity would be right for him and his family.

LB is talkin' and says Snyder removed it and will let him go wherever he wants. "Mr. Snyder just wants me to be happy."

Larry says he is still "pumped about coaching". Ed Snyder says no compensation from a team to 76er's for hiring Larry Brown... Good news for Rox....

    Okay. Old doc is wrong.

I just watched the whole 15 minute press conference.

First thing I noticed......owner was sad.

Larry Brown was just like normal. LOL.

It was just time to go.

    He is not retiring.

He says that he will always be coaching. He has to think about it.

I don'tk now..........but I just have a freakin feeling that he is coming to Houston.

Someone asked him about it........and he talked about Lebron praising him on TNT last night.....but still........I think he likes Houston better.

And someone asked him about the clause on the contract. He sai the owner doesn't care and will let Larry Brown do whatever he wants to be happy. So basically, HE IS FREE TO GO ANYWHERE. We don't have to give up anything.

I just feel that he is coming here.

And some guy asked that "INTERNET AND MEDIA" are already considering him as a candidate. That guy must have gone here.

    Anyways.....afterwards.....

There was a poll on EPSNNews website.

Where would Larry Brown fit better?
    Houston- 59%
    Cleveland-41%

    GO VOTE!

    WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

    He is coming to Houston!

Looks like the original post from Clutch about how "Larry" would be coaching us next season is just about to go down as one of the BBS's greatest moments ever... just like the original cellphone conversation which spilled the beans about the coming of Francis, Rockhead's pictures of Hakeem and so on....

Clutch BBS... where history is made!

    Houston - 66%
    Cleveland - 34%

    couple of minutes ago.

Get ready for the big one kids... maybe a new season will finally live up to it's hype after years of frustration. The rollercoaster ride is about to begin!

Man, two weeks ago we were looking at another year of rudyball and a few "minor tweaks" to the roster. Wether you approved Rudy's exit or not, you HAVE to admit that you are more excited now about next season than you have been for a loooooooong while.

    You HAVE to!
