It was only fitting that this game came down to the last shot considering how the teams fought on every possession. Someone wrote "Energy, Effort, Excitement" on a wipe board in Dallas' locker room before the game, and both teams embodied it throughout, much to the delight of 20,884 fans, the largest crowd in Mavs history.

The drive from Austin to Dallas was sooooooo worth it. Me, my sister, 1 guy in a Yao jersey, and one couple in Rockets jerseys were the only Rockets fans in Sections 318 and 319. We were going crazy after T-Mac hit that shot and we were going even crazier after Stackhouse missed. Mavs fans were in disbelief. It was great to walk out of AA and overhear Mavs fans saying, "we suck" and "dirk sucks." I hope the Rockets finish the job in Houston. I am begging everyone that goes to our home games to PLEASE BE LOUD. Dallas fans get ridiculously loud, compared to the two Rockets home games I went to this year, they make Houston fans look like a joke. BE LOUD HOUSTON!
