I'm looking to sell this laptop. Its a bit older, but works like a charm. Its got a bit of wear on it, and its pretty big... but the screen is awesome. 17 inch LCD... great for DVD viewing. Never had any trouble with it. Manufacturer: HEWLETT PACKARD Model Number: DV8125NR Operating system - Windows XP Pro Memory: 1.5 GB DDR RAM (2GB max) Processor Type and Speed: AMD Turion 64 1.8Ghz DVD+RW Video/Graphics Card: ATI Radeon Xpress 200 17.0” WXGA+ High-Definition BrightView Widescreen Display (1440 x 900) Altec Lansing Speaker System Mulitmedia Slot Card Reader Recently have bought a brand new battery, ac adapter and a My Essentials wi-fi card for it. $1300 dollar laptop when it came out 2-3 years ago, obviously the RAM is pretty outdated, and there is a wear spot in the touchpad and some of the black on the speakers have worn off. so I'd be happy to get $400 for it, or make me an offer... I'll consider trades. Will post pics later.
Also, does it have Microsoft Office on it? I'm just in the market for something cheap and portable for work. I don't need anything terribly powerful, so this is looking pretty good. Pics soon, I hope.
Is it this one, moes? I'm interested, for Mrs. SwoLy's school needs. Also, what warranty is still left on it? What part of town are you in, and if close, can I see it today? Please send approximate location through my BBS e-mail. I am in downtown but live in Katy.
yup, looks like the beast. I doubt it has any warranty left on it. Honestly I'm not looking to sell it right this minute. I may need to use it for another week until my current laptop is fixed. Just thought I would get the ball rolling sooner than later and see who was interested. I will post the pics in a little bit.
DANG IT, you tease! Allrightie, then. You still have the box and the stuff (CD's, cables, etc.) that came with it? If so, I'll be interested still.
I bought it off ebay this year pretty much bare bones, so what you see is basically what you get. When I got it, it was only the laptop, I bought a brand new battery, AC adapter, and wireless card to get it up and running. Pics as promised...
And... video that highlights the rub that is on the touchpad... and the discoloration on the speakers. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/pmZJvI0zIXg&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/pmZJvI0zIXg&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
