So I have this laptop with a video card that needs to be replaced, as it's gone wonky on me (distortion effects on-screen... tested with an external monitor, and it's definitely the card).

It's a bit less than two years old, probably would be about a $1100 value new today (NOT counting all the software I have on the thing), and HP tells me sending it to them to replace the part would cost about $400-ish. Don't know if it'd be possible to find the parts myself and replace them. Just not motivated enough to do it.

I just bought a new desktop, so I don't need this laptop anymore (don't move around anymore like I did at my other job). Figured I may as well see if anyone was interested in picking it up, whether it's as a fixer-upper or for parts.

I don't expect much to come out of this, but all offers are welcome. I'd certainly be happy to get $350 for it.
