My favorite part of the Rockets/Hornets game last night was how well Dan Langhi played defense on Tim James. I don't know if anyone else noticed, but James did not start scoring until Langhi left the game. Langi was in his face, and forcing him to arc his jumper just a little bit higher than his comfort zone. Langhi deserves a spot in the rotation if he continues to play defense like he did last night. Dan is a smart player who won't hurt us with mistakes, and he forces his man to beat him over the top, rather than allowing drives to the hole. Langhi, Cato, and KT is a very good 2nd team defensive unit, and I look forward to watching them develop. ------------------ What a slam dunk!!
Maybe it wasn't really how good Langhi's defense was, but how BAD Walt's defense was! when Langhi left the game that is. ------------------ How Sweet it is!
Actually Compaq, when Langhi left the game, Shandon came in at the 3, and James started to score over the top of SA. While Langhi was changing James' shot, SA could not do anything about it. Langhi will never be able to guard quick players like Shandon can, but certain SFs that are jump shooters first should fear Dan's defense more. ------------------ What a slam dunk!!
U guys need to remember, Langhi is a ligit 6'11 guy so he will present some major problems for players that are 2 to 4 inches smaller then him.... ------------------ Life moves pretty fast, If you don't stop and look once in a while you might miss it!! ... Ferris Bueler

I didn't notice langhi being left behind by anyone, the guys quicker than anyone gives him credit for. When his jitters go away he'll be a beast, the next 2nd rd. steal. ------------------ "Isn't the purpose of the game to put the ball in the basket?"
