Really impressive. I've only read about the breakaway today, but I am going to watch the recording this weekend. The commentators are calling this the greatest single day effort in the history of the modern Tour because no has ever had a solo break from the peleton on the first climb of a major mountain stage and survived to win the stage. And to think he is doing all of this with one leg 1" shorter than the other due to the degenerative hip he has.... basically the ball of one of his hip joints is DEAD and the bone is slowly collapsing on itself. He is also scheduled for a hip replacement as soon as the Tour is over. Go Floyd. One time trial left to win.
