I think it's good for this market. The more alternatives we can get in the morning the better, right? I think the Ware/Vandermeer pairing will be interesting and John and Lance talking about everything in the morning should be cool too. I say win-win.
We're losing Matt Jackson from mornings? That I'm not thrilled about. Anyone listening Friday and heard a wasted Lance Z for the first hour? I wonder if that had anything to do with anything. Why can't they just move Wexler to mornings along with Matt Jackson, Give Ware an hour sports show instead of Foster, Keep Lord and Vandermeer together and put Clanton and one of the other guys Costa? on the night shift? Makes more sense to me. As is if they go with this it'll mean more Davies and Dukes for now at least.
I have never seen a radio station suffer as much self-inflicted damage in such a short time. It's now Pallilo or bust for KILT...
Although I like Matt J, I'm done with 610 now. The new morning lineup looks horrendous. Those are not the two voices I wanna hear when I first wake up. Unfunny and uninteresting with a cap U. Buh-bye.

Horrible doesn't begin to describe it. Unless you really, really love football. You basically have two football 'freaks' on the same show. There will be no balance and Vandermeer just flat out sucks...
I give Ware props for keeping it real on the Texans broadcasts. The other dude blows the company line. I think Ware either said or came close to saying the Texans blew the 2006 Draft. The only thing more he could have said is "damn I thought the Lions choked when they drafted me." btw, he was knocking David Carr not Mario Williams. Bust making fun of bust...awesome!
Kiss any meaningful Rockets talk goodbye in the mornings. I'll never listen to show. It won't be long before Chance joins his boys at the new station.
The mornings are really going to be different now. Our choices will now be Vanderdork and Ware, Davies and Dukes, and Colin Cowherd. That is bad. Looks like I will be tuning into mike and mike early and that is it.

Matt and Adam in the mornings would be great. I like Andre Ware and everything, but I don't have any desire to listen to him first thing in the morning. I'm no huge fan of Lance, but sheesh. What they're proposing would be unlistenable.
no, it's not just bad, it will be f'in HORRIBLE and I don't go to work early enough for Mike & Mike, which I actually like ok. guess I'm going to be listening to MP3s from now on in the morning drive
That's not a bad idea. Or move Rob and Danny to the mornings and keep Jackson/ Wexler at night. I am a big fan of Rob and Danny.
Geez...appreciate all the love....this is a very tough business and I for one value everyone's opinions on any number of topics. I realize 1st impressions are enough to turn some people off, but I also think you all should give whatever "the new lineup" is a fair chance, just like I would do the same on any other station. Billy D is right...different strokes for different folks, but I still anticipate a good product on our station. And also....Don't believe everything you read in David Baron's columns....the guy is busy watching figure skating and washing Keith Olberman and Jim Nantz' cars.
