When I see a Lance McCullers thread above an Alex Bregman contract talks thread. I know people have grown tired.
So assuming McCullers actual pitches for the sake of argument, what is his best pitch if he pitches? He started out with a wicked curve. Then he got change happy if I remember. He's flipped fastballs if I recall correctly at some point. He even threw a cutter for a while. I don't remember exactly when the cutter started getting used. I do remember Robbie Grossman being one of the first getting called out on a cutter while simulaneously upset about the call, but also just standing there replaying in his head trying to figure out what the hell just happened with that pitch as it had no business being close to the zone.
