    He needs to stick to batting from the left side untill he shows he can be more patient on the right side.

    I still say he ends the season batting over .325

    they should let this guy hit left against a lefty pitcher for a while. i bet he could turn on a lot of balls.

    his swing from the right side looked absolutely awful last night. he hits for way less average and for way less power from the right...time to hit from the left full time.

    It's strange, because I'm pretty sure that when he was young he just batted righty and his dad made him into a switch hitter and now he's better from the left side. That said, I think he should stick with the switch hitting for now. He has really come around from the right side recently and it really does help in terms of how other managers/pitchers are forced to face him.

    He hasn't faced a lefty from the left side of the plate in about 15 years. Odds are he'll end up better from the right side against lefties than if he switched to batting from the left side full time.

    Yeah, I'm pretty sure I heard him say that he wishes he could bat only lefty, but he is not used to seeing lefty pitchers from the left side so it would take alot of adjusting and such. At least he is improving from the right side though.
