I know there is already a thread on the series but this is a thread about clutchfans opinion on either team. As a Rockets fan this is one of those series that I wish both teams could lose but alas there has to be a lesser of two evils.
To kick things off I'm going to have to vote for the Jazz. As much as I hate the Laker's glam and hype machine history dictates that the Jazz are the most evil.
You must be a new fan. How can you not hate the Jazz as a Rockets fan?! <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/B0YoXt-mnug&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/B0YoXt-mnug&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
I already voted but I just remembered there is a reason to hate both teams equally. Karl Malone played for both. At least though God, Karma, Universal Justice or whatever you call it prevailed to deny him a ring.
I used to hate LA back in the Shaq/Kobe days... Don't really hate either team...*shrugs*...guess I grew up.

I started to follow the Rockets and the NBA in 2000. I don't know, I just don't hate the jazz but they do have annoying fans.
Because we have two championships, and they have zero. I never understood the Jazz hate. The players we have that play most like the Jazz -- hard-nosed, fundamentally-sound on offense, physical, move well without the ball -- tend to be fan favorites.
I covered this, yesterday in a fairly metaphorical fashion. I would rather give Dana Jacobsen a r!m !ob raw, than root for either the Jazz or Lakers. Really, it is like choosing between PETA and the Westboro Baptist Church or Al Qaeda being compared to Taliban. I probably would hate the Jazz more given the history, but when the other side has Phil Jackson (who I have disliked since his Chicago years), Kobe (his ilk), Derek "DBag" Fisher, Lamar Kardashian, Pau "softer marshmellows" Gasol, and the Lakers fans. It makes really hard to like either team, as I said yesterday,"To #ell with the Lakers and To down under #ell to the Jazz."
this is easy. jazzholes gotta lose. it was tougher to chose between dallas and san antonio. for me, the list of most hated teams goes like this: 1. jazz 2. mavs 3. spurs i dont really hate the lakers as much as i just got tired of them winning.
The lakers are dirty too, remember the kobe knee on battier and the fisher head butt on scola, and in a way its kobe fault yao went down with that injury, that said i dont want either one of these 2 teams to win the finals but i want payback for last years playoffs so i wouldnt mind the jazz taking this series only to see them heart broken some where along the line afterwards!
You're a blind man. They do have fundamentals, but Sloan is a dirty coach. Physical does not mean karate chops, elbows, kicks to the private parts, setting of illegal picks, and deliberate shot clock violations in addition to flopping and whining to the referees. Karl Malone was the dirtiest play in history and the choir boy Stockton, who I know is your favorite non-Rocket deliberately kicked Steve Francis in the groin after losing a regular season game in Houston. The current Jazz are a diluted version of the old team. Sloan wants them to be more physical, because he knows that fundamentals aren't enough to win.
