Anybody watching this game? The Spurs announcers are so annoying and a bunch of homers, it's unbelievable.

I agree. I was just explaining this to my brother. They're the reason I find Spurs fans so annoying. They repeat everything they hear from them. I live in SA, btw.

I third the motion. They're a one-team town though.. they tend to see everything one way.

Kobe came out like a man on a mission in this game, but after scoring 8 early points the Spurs have done a terrific job on him. Ginobili and Hill especially, with some help from Jefferson.

Agree about the announcers. Sean Elliott thinks he's sooo hilarious continually calling Odom "Lamar Kardashian."

Damn, I hate pretty much every announce team in the NBA. Spurs commentators are apparently classless and the Lakers commentators have been complaining about foul calls for 20 minutes straight. Stupid homers are just so annoying to listen to.

Kobe can talk all he wants about kicking whatever. But he needs to just shut up if he can't do any better than 8/27 and 5 TOs after stinking against the Heat. He's the problem. It's crazy that Pau only has 8 shots in 34 minutes. And Derek Fisher has been complete trash for most of the season. Yapping and going after Jefferson when he didn't get a call after flopping was pathetic.

Sean Elliot and Spurs fans are annoying indeed, but I enjoyed this game. It also reconfirms my bewilderment on how any older, long-term Rockets fan could root for the Lakers to beat the Heat. I couldn't root for Kobe, Fisher, Barnes on the Lakers to beat anybody. You youngsters who haven't lived Rockets history, I give you a pass for not knowing any better.

Lakers and Spurs, two teams that I don't want to see win it all.

Absolutely not. I catch Bill and Clyde/Bull on NBA league pass and the Spurs broadcast i have to watch local when they play the Rockets because league pass is blocked out. The Spurs announcers are 1000X worse. it is unbelievable. You would have to hear it to appreciate it.

I left houston at 18 to join the military, and moved to San Antonio in 2000 when i got out. I was a fan of the Spurs then, because they were a Texas team. I have grown to despise them becuase of the fans here and the announcers.
