Lakers-repeat possible?

    I wanted to know what everyone thinks about the future of the Lakers. Looks like Shaq is unhappy about certain players performance and is asking people to step up or changes will need to be made. What I find interesting is that this is the same message the Kobe delivered a few weeks ago but not much was made about it, but when the Diesel talks everyone listens! Is this the year the Lakers are finally dethroned???????

    IMHO, this is the year that my Lakers would lose to the Sac Queens :mad: (we are lucky last year with ex-Rockets Horry clutch's shot).

    I hope that the Yen Master Phil will cooks something up come Playoff time so we can give those Mav and Sac Queen hells, but if we face the Chairman Yao Rocks, then history may repeats itself cause I think the Lakers will underestimated the Rocks and bombs out of the playoff all together :(

    sorry...just thought I would get the opinions of some loyal Rox fans. The reason I posted this is because the worse off the Lakers due I feel the chance for the ROX to go further in the playoffs increases.

    From this season, all I want is for the Rockets to continue to progress as much as possible and for the Lakers not to win the Championship from a 6th seed or below.

    Wouldn't that be funny if the Rockets met the Lakers in the 1st round?

    I agree, and not only do I not think they'll repeat, I don't think they're even going to make the playoffs.

    I can't believe it. It's scary that they can turn it on like that.

    Kobe 2-11 for the first 3 quarters... 8-8 in the 4th.
