Now that the trade deadline has past and the deals are done, I feel more strongly about it. Lakers got just what they needed. A nice, clean upgrade at the point. Sessions is so underrated. They are the class of the West.
Give the ball to Bynum. They'd have at least 5 more wins if they fed the ball to Bynum whenever he was hot instead of Kobe jacking up shot after shot.
Did the Beasley trade go through? Because if not, they only have Sessions. That leaves them with: Sessions Kobe Beasley/Artest/Barnes/Eyenga/Kapono Gasol/Murphy Bynum/McRoberts That's an alarmingly low amount of depth. They'll be good, but they probably won't win the west and they definitely won't win a ring- if they do it's because of a miracle by Kobe or Bynum starts playing like Hakeem.
kapono's gone in the sessions trade, goudlock is a solidback up for kb24, though he tends to jack up more shots than kb24 himself, jordan hill is still a better back up than murphy/roberts probably, need beasley though, not sure if it goes through
You can just pack the paint on the lakers and force them to shoot 3s. Sessions is 29% from the arc for his career. Kobe, Ron, and Matt are 33-34%.
Richard Jefferson for Stephen Jackson. Jackson should be an upgrade but hasn't done much this season. Time will tell.
