Some very interesting threads in lakers forum discussing officiating after Game 3 vs Timberwolves and Game 1 vs spurs. Please dont presume that the rational posters are also lakers fans as there are some non lakers fans there. After Game 3 vs Timberwolves Did the refs really favor us tonight? Danny Ainge The biased world caused by the biased media After Game 1 vs spurs Please stop with the Refs. Discuss here THAT WAS THE WORST OFFICIATED GAME I HAVE EVER SEEN Okay Lets write to Stern! (email addy link) Kobe: 38 FGA, 4 FTA/ Ginobili: 9 FGA, 8 FTA I dont know about you guys but I find it very interesting. I just wonder what would they say if they are eliminated.
Who else gets the sense that these guys feel zero urgency? I mean...their big 2 are still fairly young...particularly Kobe...but geez, the guy has already 3-peated. what's left to prove? that kind of thinking is why it's so hard to build a real dynasty. i really don't think they're gonna beat the spurs.
I don't think Shaq has that many years left. His desire doesn't seem to be there. He also has foot problems and is 350+ pounds and getting heavier every year.
Yep, Phil whined yesterday after the lost to Spurs. He repeatedly said that Duncan having more FTs than the whole Lakers team was "ridiculous." This guy has no shame. Every time I hear any of the Lakers complain about officiating I want to throw up. BTW, I've never heard Phil admit after a lost that the opponent is a better team.
Whining is what losers do. Lakers have gone downhill and they know it. SA Spurs are the next dynasty in the NBA.
This had to be one of the worst threads ever: Kobe: 38 FGA, 4 FTA/ Ginobili: 9 FGA, 8 FTA I can't belive that they are complaining about how many FT's Kobe took when he shot almost 40 shots. If Steve had taken 38 shots, we would all be posting on how he is selfish. Yet they see it as Kobe not being selfish enough?
They probably don't think Kobe's being that selfish, seeing as how he put up 50 something shots earlier in the season. I guess 38's a step in the right direction for him!
LMAO!!! I hope the Lakers keep playing the way they are...and ditto for the Spurs!!! Man, so far soo good .
Thanks for the links, that is some classic stuff there! Damn, of all the teams out there, the Lakers have absolutely no f*cking right to complain about officiating after the Dick Bavetta debacle. And Easy is exactly right about that pompous ass, Phil Jackson. His attitude is why I hate him so much. Never gives another team credit because their team was the better team, always some escape clause like the refs sucked. BTW - some guy over there named "Clone" has this as his sig: 1999 NBA Champions San Antonio Spurs* 2003 San Antonio Spurs** *ASTERISK DENOTES A STRIKE/LOCK-OUT SHORTENED SEASON **ASTERICKS DENOTE CURRENTLY PLAYING DEFENDING CHAMPS WITHOUT RICK FOX AND DEVEAN GEORGE ROTFLMFAO - especially the 2nd part....I can see, possibly, Rick Fox being important but Devean George?? Bwhahahahahahaha!
So, he's conceding that the Lakers will lose to the Spurs? Good for him. BTW, that moderator guy over there is one of the biggest homers I've seen.
It's interesting how injuries only matter when they prevent someone from suiting up for the Barney purple and piss yellow. LA still has two of the top three players in the game alive and well and they complain? The Laker bandwagon can dish it but they can't take it.
I hope the Spurs sweep their ass right out of the playoffs. Then more internal issues happens and the team falls apart..even moreso.
