This was my favorite post from the Laker hate page: Why We Hate the Lakers 1. Phil Jackson - what a wimp! He had an opportunity to so some REAL coaching in Chiacgo and help the team rebuild, but he said he was retiring. His decision to join the Lakers shows he was just a coward and knew he would be exposed for the fraud he is if he stayed in Chicago. He only works for a team that doesn't really need a coach. Let's face it, Gumby could have won 6 titles with MJ and the Bulls. It's a similar situation in LA. 2. Shaq - the guy is a self-centered prick. He had great team in Orlando and abandoned them for the glitz of Hollywood. He made some really bad movies, some even worse rap records, and has yet to really commit himself to basketball. The only reason he is as dominant as he is is because he is bigger than everybody else and the refs allow him to throw people around under the basket. If you watch any Laker basketball you know Shaq gets 12 fouls per game, not just 6. Enough already. 3. NBC and the NBA - they want LA to win because of the ratings it will produce if they will. For that reason, certain pressure is put on the refs to make sure all borderline calls go LA's way. YUCK!
