I caught Brian Regan's set tonight at the Laff Stop...this has got to be the funniest comedian still doing standup... He had lots of new material tonight, including some really funny stuff about airlines, computers, and responses to "thank you". If you haven't seen him live yet, you can still catch his Sunday show-this guy's very animated...he's even better in person. His brother opened for him tonight; he's different but very, very funny. There's some really good comics coming here in the next few months...Larry the Cable Guy, Tommy Chong, Mitch Hedburg, Wanda Sykes, and Dave Attell... Anyone here happen to catch his show? Any other comedy club fans around here? x34
awesome! mitch hedberg was one of my top stand up comedians til i heard brian regan..i thought i was the only one who liked these guys!. good choices.
I've never seen anyone funnier than Brian Regan. I've seen him live twice and he is the only comedian I've ever paid to see on purpose (as opposed to having one open for a jazz band or something). He is just so freakin' hysterical and I LOVE good stand up comics but NO ONE makes me laugh harder than him.
