She's really hot...think she might be Puerto Rican. She controls every facet of Mr. Rice, including his jumpshot. I'm hoping she doesn't walk up to Mobley during timeouts and slap him for taking too many shots.

I think she had planned to kill Tim "King" Duncan.

Will, remember that we are amateurs with this gossip stuff in Houston. Dallas can't really even compare with the cities that are too busy to pronounce their full name....NY, DC and LA.

Some gossip columnists want us to be H-town, but we are hopelessly a small town at heart, wanting to live and die with our celebreties, but not their wives/husbands.

A few good articles to brush up on your Glen Rice wife history....

    <a href="http://www.jsonline.com/sports/buck/jun00/finnot15s1061500.asp">Rice's wife rips Jackson's coaching</a>

<I>"I've seen wives hit writers on top of the heads with their pocketbooks in Boston. I've seen them swear at officials walking by. I've seen it all. It doesn't faze me. They're just trying to protect their man. If my man was making $12 million, $15 million a year, I'd be trying to protect him, too." -- Indiana coach Larry Bird, when asked what he thought of the well-publicized comments by Glen Rice's wife over her husband's lack of playing time.</I>

    <a href="http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/basketball/nba/2000/playoffs/news/2000/06/13/lakers_pacers_pre_ap/index.html">Rice, Jackson continue war of words</a>

<I>"Jackson has never wanted Glen, he's always wanted somebody like Scottie Pippen, and this is his way of getting back at management for not letting him make a trade," Christina Fernandez Rice told The Los Angeles Times on Tuesday. "This is Jackson's way of showing the people on top of him who is in control. It's crazy."</I>

<a href="http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/basketball/nba/2000/playoffs/news/2000/06/19/finals_lakers_ap/index.html">Reserves play key roles in Lakers' championship</a>

Rice supported his wife's comments.... also holds an interview with his son G'mitri and when they asked Rice where he wanted to play, G'mitri said "Miami"... :)

From what I understand, most of his wifes comments in LA were not unwarranted. He was misused w/ the Lakers and most of the team, including the coach, had blackballed him unfairly. Shaq was the only one who stuck in his corner - they have always been very close friends off of the court and Shaq was the one who had actually lobbied to bring Rice from Charlotte b/c he wanted a good shooter to open up the inside for him.

Not terribly relevant, but people keep saying that they hear that Rice's wife is attractive. I took a quick look around the net to see if I can find a picture -- but no luck. Does anyone know where a pic is at?

    Oh no!!

I just had a flashback of Rice's wife, and I now remember that she eerily looks quite similar to Quitten's wife...

    This can't be good...

    Juan,

I do not know of any internet resources, but I saw a picture of her with Glen in a magazine once (from some charity event).

She doesn't really look that Cuban. She has blonde hair (dyed, I guess) and is terribly short compared to Glen (making her anywhere from 5'3" to 5'6".

Anyway, I thought she was cute, but not as hot/beautiful as she was supposed to be. I am sure she is the type that most will agree is good looking, but not all will think beautiful.
