    However...with the state of pop music being what it is, it's pretty much all going to sound the same anyway.

    Honestly when I listen to born this way, if I didn't know that it was lady gaga, then I would have thought it was madonna. It sounded strikingly similar to express yourself.

    But I also have to say that I LOVE the lady gaga's born this way. It is a GREAT song, rip off or not.

    I'm sure the K-Pop song was copying some other pop song. Japan does the same thing. International intellectual property laws are almost non-existent.

    Born This Way sounds like a lot of awful pop dance songs. No reason to think she had to steal that awful melody.

    it sounds like "waterfalls" at the first part of each verse and "express yourself" the rest of the way. but it's grown on me.

    Here's an example. I've heard a lot of other popular songs out there that have certain same beats but I wouldn't call they copy from that songs. There are like million songs out there and you are certain some will sound that same.

    The Lemon Tree have a bit of the same beats as the Police's Wrapped Around Your Finger.

    No I'm not female. But I'll sing this damn song with the windows down, I don't give a crap.

    And, I don't even like pop music.

    Another thing I was wanting to say about all of the gaga criticism on this board, is would you say the same thing about say david bowie in his ziggy stardust period, or what about Lou Reed's crazy songs.

    I think there is just a bit of chauvinism going on here. Gaga isn't someone you wanna b**g so anybody that likes what she does are female, gay, or don't have taste in music.

    I seriously doubt Lady (Gag)a heard that other song and recorded hers in 2 weeks and had it ready for release.

    I checked the wiki and it said that she sang some words and the melody to the song at some awards show or something last year.

    I think more likely it's that both songs ripped off Madonna.
