I ran out of milk post hurricane and have been searching for skim milk and have not found any. Sam's had 2% which was OK but after 2 gallons I could not take it anymore and searched for skim. 4 stores later I decided I would just try the lactose free variety skim "milk" they all had. I have come to a conclusion: It's GARBAGE!
Why are you drinking skim milk...is that cause you think you're fat? Cause you're not, you could be drinking whole milk.
I think it's total crap that the evil capitalist has attempted to place a ban on raw milk. I think it's one of the best things on this planet, unpasteurized milk. The americans are missing out.
what!...you think you're better than me because your body can properly process lactose? yours is the true lactose intolerance! (..._) trust me...the world is a much better smelling place thanks to lactaid and the like

Lactose-free milk is no different from regular.. unless you got something different, I'm pretty sure they just add the lactase enzyme into the milk to help you digest it (as opposed to actually removing the lactose). Maybe they have milk that they actually go and remove the lactose from, but I haven't seen that. It's cheaper to do it the other way, and that shouldn't taste different.
Oh it tastes different. This is the crap I bought It had a weird taste. I dumped them all out even though they cost 6 bucks each.
yeah it was the better of the two brands I bought. The other one had a weird name. I dumped it within 3 minutes of tasting. The lactaid made it till the next day.
you should thank your deity of choice for not being riddled with the intolerance of lactose - it really is a problem - especially when dining away from home...
I easily drink about 4 gallons a week and can drink a gallon in one day if I stay home all day. I would kill myself if I could not drink regular milk.
