    Lakers down by 14 with only 2.5 mins left. Kobe just got ejected!

    I believe this means that the Rockets will have the 2nd seed for the night! :D

    :mad: I just love the way ESPN makes a whole **** load of excuses for the Lakers for the loss, such as there three best players are out.

    We are 2nd seed, cause only 3 slots in the top 4 goes to the division leaders.

    We own the tiebreaker 2-1 against the Spurs and the Lakers, so we are 2nd.

    sunday will be a huge game. not just because every game counts in the ultra close west, but because a series tie with the spurs means they will have the tie breaker (division record).

    Man ESPN loves the Lakers. Showed their standings with the Lakers being 4th ahead of the Jazz when the Rockets fell to 5th they showed the Jazz ahead of the Rockets not like they did with the Lakers.

    That's probably just because the lakers are the top team in the pacific, with a better record then the jazz, so they're higher.

    when we were 5th, behind the jazz, with a better record, it was because there were teams in our division ahead of us.

    i have seen them show a 'best record in the west' graphic though.

    Lakers should be 3rd and the Jazz should be 4th. Playoff standings automatically awards a top 4 spot to division leaders.
