Kyle Lowry (undisclosed) wrote on his Twitter account that he was in pain and is headed for an MRI. Lowry's two tweets were "pain!!!" and "MRI," and that is a fairly cryptic update from the player himself. He played under the weather on Wednesday but came out of the game feeling fine, so it's a surprise that he's getting an MRI. If he's forced to miss any time, Goran Dragic would start in his place. Didn't they say he hurt himself on the hard foul to Barbosa. And went straight to the bench. But an MRI on a hip??
It looked like he hurt himself on the play right before that. He was struggling to get back and then made the intentional foul on Barbosa to stop the clock so he could get out of the game.
I wonder if he didnt injure the wrist in the game before when he took a hard fall and came up holding the wrist.
i just think that he forgets his strength and over-confident on his offense game. in the last 1x games, he tried to force things happen in offense and lead to too many turnovers..
Dude has been balling hard as of late. It seems like he takes at least one hard shot every game. I'm sure one of those is still lingering. Hopefully he's ok, and he can remain on the court. We really can't afford to lose him at this important juncture.
I was at the game. It looks like he tweaked his groin or something. He was limping a bit getting back to the play before he intentionally fouled Barbosa.
It's part of a diabolical plot to tank. He's not actually hurt. Ah, hell; hope it's nothing. Muscle pulls or strains are no fun.
It was definitely something in the hip/groin region. You could see him laboring when he came out of the game in the fourth. -James
