I hope Kyle likes paying more taxes, he asked for it.

Someone trying to get more twitter hits?

And yet, it makes a lot of sense....IF the Raptors later move Calderon and maybe other players to fill out their roster better.

I would be happy with that return if the trade is straight up.

Makes alot of sense for both sides. The 5th pick is more crucial one though.

    I think #8 + #16 is more than enough for #5

You guys are overrating the draft, Lowry is more valuable than the players that are going to be there at 8.

14 + 16 for 8 might be reasonable, but Lowry is not going to Toronto unless we’re getting Valanciunas.

I don't think that Drummond would fall that far, but it would be nice if that happened...if we don't get #5 in the end!

Morey's apparently trying to keep 8 and somehow trade 14 and 16 with Dally for 5.

I like it though I would love #6 of the Blazers more. Wouldn't it be ironic if we trade Lowry to Toronto and Dragic goes to Blazers.

I agree with you on Kyle's value. But if Morey gets a 2nd rounder from Toronto with the #8, well, he does better in the second round than in the first, so...

And the #8 isn't SO FAR off in value. They also save us nearly 6 million in cap space (unless we keep and sign the pick, and we still come out ahead).

Especially considering how much of a bargain Lowry's contract is, that's not a great trade... I hope it's not the best we can do.

Sure if it means we're getting another top 10 pick somehow to land Howard.

If this is how we are getting the 5th, then how are we getting the 8th?

    Dalembert to Sacto for #8?

My bad, read thread incorrectly, we're talking #8, then we are going to flip it and a player for #5 to Sac.

If we can do this for just lowry... Then send 14 and 16 along with daly to sac for the 5 pick!

Just PLEASE USE THE PICKS and stay away from a Dwight trade

No, the plan is to keep #8 right now.

    Then trade a player (Dalembert) + #14 + #16 + whatever for Sacramento's #5 pick.

Then flip both the #5 and #8 plus whatever else it takes to get Dwight Howard.

I was hoping that if we were going to give up Kyle we would get the #5 in return. Not sure about this deal without knowing what 2nd/3rd moves Morey has planned.
