I dont know about you guys, but I'm pretty excited about having another PG who doesn't just throw the ball up in the air wishing for it to go in. The guy can penetrate and finish well around the basket.

He can penetrate and can finish. But this is a highlight video...everyone can penetrate and finish. I do remember Lowry playing well against us a couple games in the past, but I don't know if Aaron is ready to start quite yet. That's the only problem I have with the trade.

PGs should make others better. We need ours to hit the 3. Lowry does which of those?

What I love about his game is that he is willing to initiate the contact on a drive and then make the AND 1....tmac and rafer both shy away from contact when they drive in. I really think Lowry can get to the FT with ease because he is not scared to take a hit when taking it hard to the basket.

having mayo and gay can probably do that to your shot attempts.

he's had games where he's shown he's capable, so don't be so down on him yet.

You can make anyone look good with a highlight video. Look at his career stats.

Well put. I think Lowry will penetrate to the basket just like Wafer. He hasn't been given much of a chance.

The biggest issue is that Yao needs accurate three-point shooters, which Lowry is not. I don't doubt that Lowry is extremely athletic and a good defender, but he's not necessarily the best fit for the team-- in that regard, Rafer was still better.

Point Guard was our weaker position by far, so why make it worse??? This trade doesn't make any sense.

Lowry is also shooting 10% less than Rafer from 3 pt range...

Brooks is the starter. He hits the 3 as well or better than alston, and can do more offensively than alston. him and lowry have the ability to get to the paint and get other teams in foul trouble unlike alston, and by getting in the paint they can get open looks for teammates.

You can use artest or battier, etc to toss the ball into Yao to start the offense.

    stupid trade,

should have just started AB and let Rafer come off the bench.

can't wait until the 2010 NBA draft.
