"regular process" - as if this President ever care about adhering to regular process, if he even understand it. This president and admin is exposing so many weakness and potential issues with our system. While it sounds like the POTUS has ultimate power to grant or remove clearance, seems at least Congress should require any override or removal of security clearance made outside the "regular process" be made known with the reasons for override or removal. I would go further and said that should be made public by default.
Here are David Airavante's thoughts on fatigue: _______ Fatigue: A Tired Safety Professionals Can Fix Fatigue is a problem that lawmakers have tried to fix with regulations. But regulations alone aren’t enough. The issue requires a more complex solution than a few new rules—and it’s a safety challenge that extends beyond our roadways. In his regular column for Safety Decisions, Ray Prest addresses the scope of the problem: “Fatigue is a universal issue. It affects every worker in every industry. If there’s one topic that should keep every safety manager up at night, it’s fatigue.” Fatigue is a growing problem, but Prest notes that employers have the ability to help workers effectively address fatigue at work and on the road. To do so, they need to meaningfully target fatigue in three areas: scheduling, off-the-job training and self-awareness. https://safestart.com/news/trucker-fatigue-a-tired-safety-professionals-can-fix
Imagine if Hillary did ______ is applicable to a lot of situations these days. Imagine if Hillary went to Vietnam and praised Kim Jong Un and then left the summit accomplishing jack s***. Imagine if Hillary's personal lawyer testified before Congress about how she ordered them to pay off p*rn stars that Bill had been banging. Imagine if Debbie Wasserman-Schultz went on Twitter and threatened Hillary's lawyer the day before the hearing. These are examples from just this week that Republicans would be having meltdowns over if they were being done by Hillary. We all have our biases but many of our Republican friends seem to just have a completely different set of standards depending on what the letter next to your name is.
Yes. Imagine Hillary Clinton giving the State of the Union. Imagine Hillary Clinton negotiating with Kim Jong Un. Imagine Hillary Clinton signing a new spending bill. Imagine Hillary Clinton nominating a new Supreme Court Justice. Imagine.
