I really hate posting new topics, but I felt this was something that has been somewhat overlooked(although I haven't read through all the threads). Kenny Thomas' offensive moves have really improved. That spin move is starting to look really sweet. I hope that the Rockets keep him around for a while. I realize that his ability to finish is somewhat lacking, but he has to work on the moves and get them down before he will be able to finish more consistently. I'm sure this is something that he has really been working on in practices and it is starting to show. That, no doubt, is why Rudy is so high on him. He gets to see the improvements being made in practice that don't always get put to use during games. In a year or two, KT will be a very good offensive player(hopefully for the Rockets) because Rudy has not given up on him as so many of the fans have.

I now have been starting to like Kenny alot more. He has probably the best footwork I have seen of any player his size. He rebounds well enough for how long he is in, his defense is not that bad for his SIZE. The best thing is he doesnt jack up 10 threes like he use to.

    GO KENNY.

Why people keep saying they hate starting new threats? If the threats are good, it's OK!

By the way, I love Kenny! I think though sometimes his spin move is so fast he doesn't know where the basket is. [IMG]

That's what I was talking about. Once he gets the moves down, he will be able to finish.

His move to the middle from the three point
line is more decisive and quick, too.

I hate seeing him hesitate between the shot
and the move . . . . Do one or the other

He *IS* finishing better . . .not getting so
many BS calls as last year . . .

I think KT has improved over the course of this year

I've noticed that too. He has some off the best low post moves in our frontline. GO KENNY!

I like KT, but I wish that he were more consistent. He has the potential to be a quality starter, but he's got too much inconsistency IMO. But hopefully that will improve over time.

I've also noticed Kt's improvements throughout the course of the season. He's becoming much more consistent with this drives and finishes (I don't think I've seen him blow a layup in a while).

His rebounding and hustle are also pretty impressive.

I think he needs to develop a better midrange shot a la Big Mo. I'm glad that he's not jackin up 3 pointers any more though.

When he gets active on defense I think that he has the best hands (other than Hakeem) on the team. He seems able to knock a lot of balls out of the passing lanes at times.
