I saved $0.40 a gallon this morning when I filled up at Kroger and used my Kroger card. Paid $1.39/gallon!

I'm not even sure how it works. I just swipe my card and it tells me how much I'm saving. I guess because we shop at Kroger a lot?

Anyone else here use it? If not, you really should.

Yes. You accumulate fuel points by the amount you spend at Kroger monthly.

If you buy gift cards there you get even more points.

That new Marketplace Kroger on Barker Cypress and Tuckerton is legit.

Do your points expire every month or do they carry over? I've always assumed they expired, so I use them all with every fill up. That the best strategy?

We've been using my mother-in-law's membership for years and with a SENIOR CITIZEN discount, it's like twice as much per gallon and then you get a whole dollar off every now and then on top of their already low price.

We randomly get the BIG discount... I think Kroger is the only place where I fill up... using that Plus card. Ka-CHING!

you get .10 cents/gallon savings for every $100 spent. Think it maxes at $.40 per gallon. You have a 30 day carry over (IE you can use December fuel points for January) but then it drops off. I think you get $.02 automatically if you scan your shopper's card. But it does reset every month or resets when you use it one time.

That store is crawling with MILFs. It never disappoints.

My Randall's card does the same thing for me @ Exxon. It's $.20/gallon off the stated price.

I used to use the card, back when I shopped at Kroger when I lived in a smaller town.

Last month I saved .58 a gallon with my Fuel Rewards card. Before that, I saved nearly a dollar a gallon, thanks to referrals. It's since ended (the referral program). But I still get at least .28 off a gallon every month just for having the card thanks to Mattress Firm.

Chase Freedom - 5% back at grocery stores right now, buy gift cards, get fuel points.

2x fuel points earned on gift cards.

    $100 gift card + $10 gift card + 200 fuel points - $104.5

So $110 in gift cards and a $.20 discount on fuel for $104.5. I think you may get an extra discount for swiping your card, not sure. The rwards are the same no matter how much you redeem....100 points $.10, 200 points $.20, 1000 points $1.00, so I just redeem whatever I have, whenever I can.

Of course, nothing wrong with buying some grocers and geting 1x fuel points once in a while...

3 cents off for just swiping your card, so reality is your first $100 is only getting you 7 cents off.

I've saved .70/gallon with Kroger card.

You can get double or even quadruple points if you buy gift cards at Kroger. They have gift cards for everything, so the next time you are going out to eat or need to make a purchase at, say, Amazon, grab a gift card from Kroger.

I live next to a walmart, HEB, Target, and Krogers. I've never shopped the Krogers, but maybe I should be a grown man and register for that card and shop there.

Randalls and Exxon/Mobil have teamed up to let you take advantage of Randalls rewards to get you a discount on your gas as well.

Been using this for a few months now, it's nice.

No, the points are for Kroger. I don't think there's a points system for HEB. Also, be sure to activate the quarterly 5% back for your Freedom card on your account online.
