No link yet....but congrats Kris and good luck edit- http://www.dallascowboys.com/news/news.cfm?id=39FBC49A-BF89-6D74-82E732CCF808DED9 IRVING, Texas - Following Saturday's disappointing loss to the Cardinals, which included a crucial missed extra point in a 27-26 defeat, even special teams coordinator Joe DeCamillis suggested the Cowboys should consider giving David Buehler some serious competition next season at place-kicker. Apparently, the Cowboys have already found their man. Two days before the season finale in Philadelphia, the Cowboys have signed veteran place-kicker Kris Brown on the 53-man roster. While Buehler will remain the kicker and likely handle the duties this week, the move puts Brown on the roster going into the offseason. Had the Cowboys waited until after the season, they likely would've had more competition from other teams in attempt to sign Brown, who has spent 12 seasons in the NFL. Brown has made 77.3 percent of his field goals, but he was cut by the Texas at the end of the preseason in August. Brown, a native of nearby Southlake, Texas, had a short stint with the Chargers earlier this season, missing a critical field goal against the Patriots. But most of his career has been with the Houston Texans, where he played eight seasons.
Pretty sure if he could destroy an organization we'd have retained him judging by the way we run things. I hear we released him because McNair resented that he purposely missed that FG during the Reggie Bowl.
If that was the case, they would of cut him right after that season, not wait a couple seasons after.
Is there a record for how many different teams you've lost the gamewinner for? One in SD and xx here.
o really??? i beg to differ. http://www.dallascowboys.com/news/news.cfm?id=39FBC49A-BF89-6D74-82E732CCF808DED9 IRVING, Texas - Following Saturday's disappointing loss to the Cardinals, which included a crucial missed extra point in a 27-26 defeat, even special teams coordinator Joe DeCamillis suggested the Cowboys should consider giving David Buehler some serious competition next season at place-kicker. The kicking world has come full circle. Neil Rackers was brought in by the Texans to "compete" with Kris Brown when really Brown had no real shot at keeping his job. Now Brown has been brought in to "compete" with Buehler in a similar situation.
You said 'signed'. He hasn't signed yet. It should should say Brown to sign with Cowboys. Thanks. Management.
