HOUSTON -- Houston Texans wide receiver Jacoby Jones was arrested overnight and charged with driving while intoxicated, police said Sunday.

Police said they stopped Jones at about 2 a.m. Sunday. He posted a $500 bond and was released, officials said.

The Texans said they're still gathering information about the arrest, and they said they're not yet ready to comment.

I guess Jacoby felt he needed to fill that void that Mathis has left.

I don't consider being young and having a DWI a real problem. He made a mistake and now he needs to learn from it.

They have a pattern of other distructive behavior.

Why don't you add Rudy T to that list as well.

    And Craig Biggio.

That being said, what happened to this guy last year? He had a great preseason and (perhaps) started thinking he was a little too big for his britches. I know he got hurt, but after the preseason, I think it's safe to say his rookie year was a disappointment.

It seems he is a preseason all-Pro. That happens sometimes. He was making all those plays against players who are now driving UPS trucks. I thought he would be something special as well, I am thinking I was wrong.

As far as the DWI thing, I think it is just stupid. You have to have plenty of people you can call to pick you up. Especially if you are an NFL player. Hopefully he learns from this and doesn't get in this situation again.

When he came back, I think he played like he was afraid that he might get injured again.

I've done sober that when I was working nights. I was never caught, but I have certainly fallen asleep at red lights more than once.
