http://www.click2houston.com/news/15612014/detail.html HOUSTON -- Houston Texans wide receiver Jacoby Jones was arrested overnight and charged with driving while intoxicated, police said Sunday. Police said they stopped Jones at about 2 a.m. Sunday. He posted a $500 bond and was released, officials said. The Texans said they're still gathering information about the arrest, and they said they're not yet ready to comment.
I don't consider being young and having a DWI a real problem. He made a mistake and now he needs to learn from it.
I've seen jones out drinking before when he was hurt. monday night when the giants played the falcons at scott gertner's sports bar of richmond. he didn't look drunk, seemed like a pretty mellow guy
And Craig Biggio. That being said, what happened to this guy last year? He had a great preseason and (perhaps) started thinking he was a little too big for his britches. I know he got hurt, but after the preseason, I think it's safe to say his rookie year was a disappointment.
It seems he is a preseason all-Pro. That happens sometimes. He was making all those plays against players who are now driving UPS trucks. I thought he would be something special as well, I am thinking I was wrong. As far as the DWI thing, I think it is just stupid. You have to have plenty of people you can call to pick you up. Especially if you are an NFL player. Hopefully he learns from this and doesn't get in this situation again.
new evidence shows he was asleep at the wheel with his foot on the brake. His alcohol level was 0.13 and he had his seatbelt on..... chronicle
I've done sober that when I was working nights. I was never caught, but I have certainly fallen asleep at red lights more than once.
