Gathering in a Times Square corn field this afternoon, Grammy-winning hard rockers Korn announced they will be joining the increasing list of environmentally concerned artists by going green with the Family Values Tour. Teaming up with Music Matters' SMART (Sustainable Minded Artists Recording Touring) program, the band will lessen their negative impact on the environment by fueling all 16 of their touring vehicles with domestically produced bio-fuels.

"We're going to take our tour completely green," said front man Jonathan Davis. "And we're going to try and get the other bands to join us as well."

Taking their global concerns to the next level, the band also announced that they will be launching Korntastic—their very own recipe of bio-fuel—soon to be available online at Korntastic.com. With their widely successful Family Values Tour underway, Korn has further expressed their tender side by offering free tickets to Family Values shows to USO soldiers on leave.

"We've always looked out for them, those guys are going to Iraq and risking their lives for us," said guitarist James 'Munky' Shaffer. "It's the least we could do for them."

Korn can be seen supporting the release of their untitled eighth studio album, available now through EMD, as they headline this summer's Family Values Tour.

Korntastic? Really? That's the best they could do for a name?
