any good korean bbq places in houston?

i've been craving it for a while but don't know of any. i know in many other cities they are everywhere, and given the numbers of koreans in houston we have to have them too.

    any suggestions would be great.

I've never been to any, but I think there are quite a few Korean restaurants in the Long Point Dr area.

What is Korean BBQ like? We have a KBBQ restaurant in my town... I've been meaning to go by there.

Korean Garden's on long point is the best. I always go in for their lunch specials and pig out on the Kim Che (sp?).

I've never done the Korean BBQ thing either, but I'm down to try it out.

I did Korean BBQ in Koreatown when I lived in LA, but haven't done it since I moved back. I just might have to take me a trip to Long Point.

I'm going to have to second Korean Garden. krnxsnoopy gave directions. The food is better than Seoul Garden and the waitstaff is friendlier.

Nam Gam used to be the bomb, but after new management, not so much so. They still use real charcoal though.

They key is to have it not too sweet. Lately a lot of Korean BBQ places in NY and LA have the marinade so sweet it is disgusting. I guess a lot of people like it, and it is a recent fad within the last 10 years.

Obviously it will be a little sweet, and that's the way it should be. But meat flavor is killed with too much. A few years ago I found it easy to get good Korean BBQ in Houston than in NY or LA.

I live in the Long Point area, been to Seoul Garden, you know a brotha gotta go to Seoul, but I think a better one is Nam Gang on Gessener north of I-10.

Okay I hope this doesn't come off as racist but what's up with Chinese and Korean restaurants and the restrooms?
