I went to realgm.com and tried some Trades out till got one that acctually works but i dont think is going to happen. Here it goes.

Houston trades: PF Maurice Taylor (8.4 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 1.0 apg in 20.6 minutes)
SG Cuttino Mobley (17.5 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 2.9 apg in 41.7 minutes)
Houston receives: SG Kobe Bryant (30.0 ppg, 6.9 rpg, 5.9 apg in 41.5 minutes)
Change in team outlook: +4.1 ppg, -0.8 rpg, and +2.0 apg.

L.A. Lakers trades: SG Kobe Bryant (30.0 ppg, 6.9 rpg, 5.9 apg in 41.5 minutes)
L.A. Lakers receives: PF Maurice Taylor (8.4 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 1.0 apg in 67 games)
SG Cuttino Mobley (17.5 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 2.9 apg in 73 games)
Change in team outlook: -4.1 ppg, +0.8 rpg, and -2.0 apg.

    TRADE ACCEPTED

Due to Houston and L.A. Lakers being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. Houston and L.A. Lakers had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

There is a place to dream.

If the Lakers were to do that trade, I would forsee a riot that will make the Rodney King fiasco look like a VFW reunion.

that trade will never happen. this is the trade that we should make w/ the lakers...

Houston trades: PF Jason Collier (2.8 ppg, 2.2 rpg, 0.1 apg in 8.0 minutes)
PG Moochie Norris (4.3 ppg, 1.9 rpg, 2.4 apg in 16.8 minutes)
    C Kelvin Cato (4.5 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 0.3 apg in 17.1 minutes)
SF Glen Rice (9.0 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 1.1 apg in 24.7 minutes)
SF Terence Morris (3.7 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 0.5 apg in 12.9 minutes)
    Houston receives: C Shaquille O'neal (27.5 ppg, 11.1 rpg, 3.1 apg in 37.8 minutes)
Change in team outlook: +3.2 ppg, -4.0 rpg, and -1.3 apg.

    L.A. Lakers trades: C Shaquille O'neal (27.5 ppg, 11.1 rpg, 3.1 apg in 37.8 minutes)
L.A. Lakers receives: PF Jason Collier (2.8 ppg, 2.2 rpg, 0.1 apg in 13 games)
PG Moochie Norris (4.3 ppg, 1.9 rpg, 2.4 apg in 82 games)
    C Kelvin Cato (4.5 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 0.3 apg in 73 games)
SF Glen Rice (9.0 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 1.1 apg in 62 games)
SF Terence Morris (3.7 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 0.5 apg in 49 games)
Change in team outlook: -3.2 ppg, +4.0 rpg, and +1.3 apg.

you may think this is crazy, but since it worked in real gm, than it must be reasonable to think that this trade could actually happen.

it is perfect for the rockets b/c it allows us to dump off 3 of our 4 bad contracts and at the same time provide a valuable back-up for yao in shaq. the two of them together would probably be one of the top center tandems in the league. it would also put us in immideate contention for a championship.

the lakers would do it b/c shaq only has a couple years left till he retires anyway, and they get to upgrade their pg and pf spots. glen rice gets to return to the team that he won it all with (the circle will be complete) and they get a guy in cato who will carry the torch of all the great laker centers.

    from wilt to kelvin...

While we are being stupid, lets just trade our entire team minus steve and yao for kobe and shaq. A steve/kobe/justin timberlake/shaq/yao team would dominate for DECADES. MUHAHAHAHAHAH.

Kobe will be 6th man, since Mobley is clearly better than him. Kobe is an MJ wannabe, while Mobley is his own man.
