Wow, do you realize that Wade has around as many great games in 2 Finals trips as Kobe has had in 7? Wade: 2006 http://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/200606080DAL.html 2011 http://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/201105310MIA.html Kobe: 2000 http://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/200006070LAL.html 2001 http://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/200106060LAL.html 2002 http://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/200206050LAL.html 2004 http://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/200406060LAL.html 2008 http://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/200806050BOS.html 2009 http://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/200906040LAL.html 2010 http://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/201006030LAL.html
Kobe is a top 3 SG, behind Jordan and Wade. That said, Kobe's problem is he gets "hero syndrome" and ends up taking a lot of bad shots.
MJ would not be MJ if it were not for Drexler wearing down the Pistons in the finals and Lakers in all those WCFs. Crazy thread just got crazier.
Do you realize that Jason Terry has more great games in 2 Final trips than LeBron and he actually won 1? Terry >> LeBron.
You always bring Lebron into EVERY discussion not involving Lebron. Then it becomes a Lebron vs Kobe thread.
You keep telling yourself that fanboy. Wade won with a dysfunctional and physically worn-down Shaq. While Kobe won with HOF Shaq. And don't tell me Kobe carried his team in 09' and '10. Kobe sucked balls in '10. In '09 he played against easy competition. Kobe is the better all-time player for now. But Wade is definitely a very close third.
Terry >> LeBron in the Finals, similar to Wade >> Kobe in the Finals. I don't believe anyone said Wade was better than Kobe. But as far as their Finals play, well it certainly appears to be the case. And no one mentioned Lebron but you. Sorry you have a complex.
In terms of NBA Finals performances, Wade is pretty much just slightly behind Jordan. His performance in 06 is top 3 all time with Duncan and Jordan
Yes I do. Would you care to highlight how LeBron played better than Terry in the Finals (2007 or 2011)?
Interesting. To say that Terry played better than Lebron is to say that, of the two (n hindsight) you would have rather had Terry on your team than Lebron. I doubt even Mark Cuban and Rick Carlisle would agree with that. A more accurate statement would be to say that Terry was more efficient in his role than Lebron. Terry has nowhere near the level of responsibilities on offense or defense and had nowhere near the same level of attention paid to him by the opposing team. Statistical analysis is great, but only with perspective.
