No doubt Kobe and Shaq arent the best of friends, but this is really a PR move to take ALOT of the pressure rape trial from KOBE to concentrate on season. If you notice, everybody talks about KOBE Leaving LA, not KOBE going to jail. This move greatly benefited the Lakers as all camera goes to Kobe about what team he gonna play for instead of all these rape trial news. Lakers are genius to have thought off this. As u can see, Laker are kicking everybodies butts rite now. KOBE is playing ALOT betta. Dont get me wrong, I love KOBE, and wish him the best of luck. The gurl's history makes her seem pretty sleezy. 3 men in one nite. Should be a p*rn star...... All about the money

It does appear to have worked. But my thinking was why use Kobe. They could have come up with some better distractions that didn't involve kobe directly. He doesn't need any more bad press given they are looking for jurors.
I don't think anyone has even suggested this, much less in court. What was alleged was 3 men in 3 nights, one of which was Bryant. That hardly makes you p*rn star material. And, I think it's silly to think the Kobe/Shaq thing was a calculated PR move. I think it was sincere but also not as big a deal as the paper made out. I don't think it has kept the rape out of the papers. There was a lot of talk about it because of his preliminary hearing. Now, since there won't be much movement on it for a little while, the papers have moved on. They'll come back for the next court proceeding.
