It seems like a lot of people hate on Kobe solely because of his character flaws, but they don't hold Jordan to the same standard. Are Kobe's arrogance and character flaws really any worse than Jordan's were? I'd be interested in hearing some feedback from those that were able to witness the entirety of Jordan's career.
The fact that I guarantee Kobe practiced that r****ded scowl in the mirror before ever using it on the court. That pretty much sums up the difference for me.
Jordan is a douche! Kobe himself is a douche but what makes it worse is, kobe tries too hard to copy Jordan's every moves and his douche, thus that makes kobe a megadouche!
what's wrong with kobe wants to copy MJ? Do you have the problems if Yao tries to copy Dream? Or Brooks tries to copy Nash?
Jordan did not whine HALF as much as Bryant does. Kobe is a vagina that plays basketball. Jordan had balls at the very least.
...and i bet Jordan practiced sticking his tongue out. Kobe has just never been a real personable guy, somewhat shy at times. I always thought it was silly that people disliked this character flaw but it is definitely the biggest difference in their demeanor. Jordan was more arrogant, he played more dirty, and he did much worse to his teammates than call them out to a fan. EDIT: I admit Kobe has his flaws but alot of the hate for him started well before the Shaq feud, Colorado, and requesting a trade. Many people just never liked him as a person.
Yes. I never recall MJ ripping his teammates in public like Kobe has. I don't recall him crying to get traded when his teammates sucked, or when he thought they sucked. And I don't see him having a beast like Shaq on his team and taking part in that divorce, because it seemed like he put winning above everything else.
You don't remember Jordan publicly calling his teammates "chiken ****"? Or calling them "garbage-men?" Or, as a rookie, calling them "The Looney Toons" because of how weak they were mentally? Or disrespecting them by referring to them as "my supporting cast"? Abandoning his teammates and refusing to show up to a press conference after a pivotal playoff game? Or punching more than one teammate in the face in practice? Or getting one of his coaches fired? Or threatening to retire if management didn't re-sign certain players and his coach? You should pick up this book called "The Jordan Rules".
I hate how Kobe always stares down the refs when he feels he got fouled which is pretty much 90 percent of the time. Makes him seem like a big whiner.
Is ok for Yao to copy Dream's post moves, hooks etc. But to copy others' personalities, acts, every single moves even the way MJ walks etc like Kobe does. Then you become a fake product and no one like fake product!
