So Bynum went down and the Rockets are to take advantage right?

Well they still have Mamba and he has 34 at the half, although he has taken 20 shots.

But this sort of performance reminds you of what a swingman star really is and something the Rox are missing.

    Lakers at Knicks

65 -54 at the half. And Mr. Bryant has 34 of that 65.

Odom got the start and he has two blocks.

He's 13-20. That isn't a bad thing. He should jack up 40 shots if he keeps hitting at that clip.

agreed, just pointing it out, its not like he was 10-10, and 8-8 from the freethrow line whatever close to perfect stat you can get :D

I say he'll get somewhere around 45+ tonight but this guy has scored 81 so I can never be too sure.

I think we can add gasol to this too

Gasol has 20/10/3 in 26 minutes on 8/12 shooting.

Consider who they are playing and that Kobe probably wants to make sure they don't lose their first game after getting the bad news on Bynum.

Surprisingly, the game has became kinda boring in the 4th quarter since Kobe checked in, not becoz he pulled the game away but becoz the refs kept feeding him FTs.

He's also 18-18 from the line with 2 FTs coming up and a chance to break 60.

It's amazing how easy Kobe makes it look. He's heading for 60.

If Kobe hits 60, he'll have 5 60 point games in his career. 1 more than MJ, I think (not including playoffs).

I'm sure Wilt holds the record for most 60 point games ever. Is there anyone else between him Kobe?

Lebron is the better player IMO but even James can't touch 60 points. Kobe is one explosive mofo.

If the boxscore I'm looking at is up to date, Kobe played well under 40 minutes.

I think LeBron can and will score 60+ and he'll do it multiple times.
