to sign or not to sign check this out I mean Jerry Buss is like "hey, Mr. Kobe, Can we talk? I ll do anything u want, i ll kick out that fat dude u hate, plz plz stay" man this owner with player relationship is weird, if a boss wants to talk with his player, he should be like this, step into my office RIGHT NOW u son of .. lol read this from espn
Uh, Buss isn't Kobe's boss right now. Kobe is a FREE AGENT. This is more like the head of a company trying to hire top talent via the wining/dining route. "step into my office RIGHT NOW u son of .." probably isn't going to get Kobe to stay. Maybe it's just me.
I don't think the owner - player relationship is a boss - employee relationship. In professional sports, its more like two people doing bussiness with each other. Kind of like supplier and retailer. The big retailers like Wal-Mart (Kobe) can get the suppliers (Owners) to bend over backwards to carry their stuff. While the small no name retailers or wholesalers (like all the other players) have to do some work just so the supplier would give them the goods to be shipped at a competitive price.
