Seems to me they both did something sexually until Kobe push it too far(no pun intended here). Quilty for cheating and lying!!!
Impossible to say. But I would have to guess that he did it, his orginal statement gave the impression that nothing happened, that was proven false. Now he expects the media/fans to believe him now? Ya right, I also got the impression that he was guilty, by the way he was talking/crying in the press conference. I think he is guilty but we dont know anything about the details so nobody can be wrong or right. I thought he was innocent before yesterdays press conference now Im leaning the other way
He's going to be forced to take the stand because it's a he said she said case, but given that it's a sex crime, we probably won't get to see it. It sure will be compelling testimoney. I can't say that he's guilty. But so far his actions would point in that direction.
Let's see....guilty...no, wait...innocent....hang on...guilty it is...no, wait.... How on earth are we to decide this? Juries with full exposure to testimony and all available evidence are still prone to error, how are a bunch of basketball fans who know virtually nothing about the event at all supposed to decide guilt or innocence? Next week's poll...Who really was Jack the Ripper? Tumbletee, Kozinsky, or Prince Albert?
Kind of hard for anyone here to decide anything when there is very little info as to what the evidence is or what exactly happened. Get a clue.
No, I do not think that would be right. I would not like to add to the problem. Sorry! I wish I knew a way around it...
Exactly. I'm a firm believer of innocent until proven guilty (and would vote that way if I was on the jury), but I can definitely see him being guilty. I think he gets off, though, at the very worst probation.
It's not like we are convicting him. Just a general prediction. Like guessing the Rox record next season (55-27).
I'm thinking Kobe is guilty. This 19 yr old girl was probably in awe of Kobe but only as a fan not his sex tool. And Kobe couldn't resist his temptation. but maybe he is innocent.
Even if she were the ugliest woman alive, it wouldn't matter. As stated before, rape is all about power. The "rapist" will generally pick a victim because they are an easy target. Maybe he thought that an ugly girl would be easier (assuming he did it). In my opinion, he's still innocent simply because I don't know what really happened (since I was not there) and I firmly believe in our Constitution, laws, country and legal system. As far as a conviction, I wouldn't be surprised to see it go either way. It's a hard call.
While rape is about power, what leads up to it may be sexual. It could have been that Kobe wanted sex, and after it progressed to a certain point she didn't. At that point Kobe who is used to power, and not having it challenged took what he wanted. I have no idea if Kobe is guilty or not. But I just wanted to say that while we talk about it being about Power and not about sex, the way she looked could have played a part.
