He certainly did......good thing our coach was not sharp enough to realize it and send help.

Just what we need. Extra motivation for Kobe against us. Ron did a great job against Kobe in that second quarter, but he let his duel with Kobe take him out of the flow of the offense in the second half, though. Way too many rushed shots.

Adelman did not make any adjustments when the Lakers were crowding the paint...Why didn't he put Barry in....But yes, Kobe was on tonite and he was hitting those pullup shots at a amazing clip

No kidding... hopefully it won't turn into the Me, Myself, and I Show starring Ron Artest.

Gotta give it to the Mamba.

Although if we don't shoot 5 for 10 trillion from beyond the arc and commit 3 turnovers per possession we might have had a shot to put this one away.

    The worst Kobe did.

Artest is suck a competitor that he will wave Battier and take Kobe from start to finish next time.

If the left let them battle next time, Kobe will not have anything left in the tank later in the 4th quarter.

That's how I'm choosing to remember this game. Kobe and Gasol go off, Artest and Yao are pretty much useless, we shoot 5-28 from 3, and commit 23 turnovers...and only lose by 6. If we're just at our averages in TO's, 3's, and efficiency from Yao and Artest we win that game going away.

Although some of that has to be chalked up to the pressure defense all game. We need to put in some shooters to burn them backing the paint.

And then you realize they beat us without Odom, too...

Please, anything but Quicktime so I can listen to it. I refuse to download that program, the Media Player Classic should be sufficient enough for most audio and video formats.

Yeah but that Powell guy stepped in and got 17 points on like 60% shooting. I don't think you can really make an argument that they would have gotten omre than that from Odom.

    Then you ask yourself...

Is Odom really that important to what they've been doing?

His stats are WAY down this year and Jackson has gone with Ariza and Walton more as of late.

I've always respected his game but he is an arrogant man. Never would be happy to see him as a Rocket.

Better not harder as in "proving" he's better than Kobe. Ron works hard almost every night, his problem is that he sometimes doesn't work smart, for instance tonight.

I hope Ron comes back playing better, with this as motivation.

But it also worries me that he'll try to do too much. I've had enough of his jacking up threes.

Von is a me first mentality player too, but at least he drives which creates stuff for others.
