ESPN just reported that Kobe has flu-like symptoms and may sit out tonight. Phil Jackson says Kobe usually plays thru this. Maybe no Kobe tomorrow night? Lock if already poster
As I said in the other thread, if it's anything like what we're dealing with here, he's likely to be out a few days. Anyway, I don't care if he plays or not, I just want a W.
This. Rockets need as much testing as possible this season. Lakers sans Kobe and Gasol would get run over by our team.
dudes gonna light us up................................over - under on his points in the game i say 25 points. ill take the over
They shouldn't use Kobe not playing as an excuse...we're the worst team in the West...they should still beat us with or without Kobe.
Well, after the OKC game, he said that he started to feel better a couple of hours before the game. When Kobe was asked by LA Sports interview guy if he 'had enough left' for the Rockets tomorrow, he replied, 'I better". And he looked a little delirious. I'm sure he will play tomorrow, but he won't be 100%.
Yeah, I hadn't thought about that. He could give others what he's got and we don't know what he has (regular flu or H1N1). It makes you wonder if and when NBA players may come down w/H1N1. I thought I saw a headline somewhere today that a college football player (?) came down w/H1N1. I wouldn't be surprised to see a new sick policy implemented by the NBA to protect others from getting H1N1.
No, not a college football player, but tennis player Tommy Haas http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/ten/6700509.html
I heard the same interview and think the Rockets have an advantage tomorrow... either that or Kobe goes off for 40
