he doesn't look to pass either (0 assists) as he has had ignored his wide open teammates multiple times when he's doubled. kobe is amazing when he's in this mode, the sad thing is, it takes him ballhogging. there's a reason they're losing right now 77-75. scoring all the points are great to watch, but when your team is losing, something must be wrong. that's why if the gasol trade never happened, they might not advance past the first round AGAIN even if they had bynum (he's still young).

He is shooting a far, far better percentage from 3 and 2 than the rest of his teammates, doubled or not....... The reason they are losing is not Kobe, its not having Pau, Bynum, Ariza.....
How does such an ultra competitor "who brings it every night" in Kobe have such an inconsistent team? His big games might be done more in spite of his team then, and they sense it? Lots of big stat games dont always lead to wins in the NBA though...

dude has zero assists. if you watch the games, his teammates are just standing around expecting him to shoot. that's what happens when kobe starts out the first quarter jacking up 12 shots. why would you need to exert yourself like that v. the worst team in the L? THE WORST TEAM IN THE L? get your teammates involved first, then do what you do if they are struggling. he has put them in the position where they're not in a rhythm offensively. they're not facing teh spurs or boston where they need kobe to exert himself immediately. they're facing THE WORST TEAM IN THE L.
